Ryanair conducts the first flight to Ukraine

The Irish lowcost carrier Ryanair performed the first flight to Ukraine on Monday, September 3 (Berlin-Schönefeld – Boryspil).

According to the Center for Transport Strategies, the plane arrived at 14:23 and flew back at 15:27. Flights Kyiv-Berlin and Berlin-Kyiv will be operated weekly on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

In addition to Berlin, it is planned to launch flights from Kyiv to Stockholm (Sweden), Vilnius (Lithuania), Bydgoszcz, Warsaw, Poznan, Wroclaw, Krakow (Poland), Bratislava (Slovakia), London (Great Britain), Barcelona (Spain). Also, the carrier will conduct regular flights to Lviv from the German Memmingen and Dusseldorf, Warsaw and Krakow in Poland, London.

Most flights will start at the end of October.

The load on the first flight was 96%.

In Boryspil, 140 thousand passengers from Ryanair are expected by the end in 2018.

At the same time, from November 1, Ryanair changes the rules of carriage of hand luggage, reducing the size of the allowable free baggage from 2 items of dimensions 55x40x20 cm and 35x20x20 cm to 1 item with dimensions 40x20x25 cm.
