The think tank “Europe without Barriers”, with the support of the International Visegrad Fund, announces a competition for the best material on labor migration from Ukraine to the Visegrad Four countries: Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic. The contest is conducted in three categories:
- Video or TV program
- Radio program or podcast
- Article published in a printed or online outlet
The winner in the category “Video or TV program” will receive a prize of 4500 UAH, 2nd place – 3000 UAH, the third – 2000 UAH. The winners in the other two categories will receive 3500 UAH, for 2nd place – 2500 UAH, for 3rd place – 1000 UAH.
The authors of the following materials can submit an application: analytics, explanatory materials on legal employment or reintegration of labor migrants, interviews, reportage, stories, coverage of the local context of labor migration. The list is not exhaustive.
The main evaluation criteria: the main idea and subject of the material relates to labor migration from Ukraine to one or all of the specified countries, publication is balanced, complete, does not contain manipulation and distortions of audience reach material
Publication may be prepared in Ukrainian or English/Russian and should be published after March 23 2019. One participant may submit several different materials. For participation, please send your publications with the subject “Contest. Labor Migration” to office.europewb@gmail.com until June 16, 2019.
In the letter, please indicate the audience coverage, which may include the results of Google Analytics (data verified by screenshots), site views, the number of social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter) for online media, newspaper / magazine circulation, etc. *.
For offline publications, you need to send a confirmation of the publication (scanned newspaper/magazine, record of the program). Please send questions to the same adress. Participants will be notified of the contest results via e-mail from which the material came from. The results will be announced no later than June 17 2019 on the website and Facebook page of the “Europe without barriers”.
The organization reserves the right not to explain the reasons for choosing a winner after the announcement of the results. In case the conditions of the competition change, changes will be announced on the website or Facebook page of the NGO “Europe without barriers”.
