European Parliament and Council of the EU reached an agreement on suspension mechanism on evening of December 7, Brussels correspondent of Radio Liberty Rikard Jozwiak told on Twitter.

According to the procedure, issue should be considered by European Parliament plenary and Council of the EU.
Previously EU ambassadors notified that visa waiver for Ukraine and Georgia should start only after renewed suspension mechanism is adopted.
