As of August, 23, 200 thousand Ukrainian citizens crossed border under the visa-free regime with EU/Schengen countries, reports State Border Service of Ukraine (SBSU).
Over 76 thousand of them (38%) travelled by plane.
Main destination point for visa-free travellers from Ukraine were Poland and Hungary (90 thousand people).
“57 citizens of Ukraine have been refused in entry since start of visa-free regime. Most of them were refused due to inability to prove goal of visit or due to previous violations of EU migration rules”, reports SBSU.
Consequently, level of denials (0,0285%) tends to decrease comparing to July (0,05%).
