Ukraine: stats of visa waiver with the EU as of July 10, 2017

As of July, 10 over 93 thousand Ukrainians who are holders of biometric passports has crossed borders with EU/Schengen states under the visa-free regime introduced on June, 11, reports Europe without barriers with reference to data by State Border Service of Ukraine (SBSU).

According to SBSU, one third of travelers have crossed border by car. Also one third of travelers have chosen Poland as their destination point.

49 people were refused of entry. 31 of them got refusal because of inability to prove their goal of visit and/or could not demonstrate they had means of subsistence.

Rate of refusals is approximately 0,05%.

Update on July, 11: According to SBSU, as of July, 11, 95 461 Ukrainians who are holders of biometric passports has crossed borders with EU/Schengen states under the visa-free regime, 50 people were refused of entry.
