Ukraine will have simplified visa regime for foreigners since early April, reports UNIAN quoting head of the consular department of the Department of Consular Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vasyl Kyrylych.
In particular, the following new rules will be implemented:
- period of time to obtain visa shortened to 10 days (5 days in urgent cases)
- unified visa fee rate of 65 dollars established. Previously consular fee could differ depending on number of entries from 85 to 200 dollars;
- invitation procedure simplified – every citizen will be able to invite a foreigner with the invitation approved by the notary;
- list of countries whose nationals can get the visa at the border checkpoint will increase to 23 including China and Australia (consular fee at the border checkpoint will be higher – approximately 95 dollars);
- visa validity term prolonged to 90 days from 45;
