A large-scale study is being conducted as part of the project which will help find the answer to a question: “Whether armed conflict in the East of Ukraine stimulated an increased migration movement to the EU and Visegrad countries?”.

Experts from the Europe Without Barriers NGO conducted a series of focus-groups and interviews with internally displaced persons, as well as a series of expert interviews. The project is being done in partnership with following organizations:

1. Geographic Migration Centre– GEOMIGRACE (Czechia)

2. Research Centre of the Slovak Foreign Policy Association (Slovakia)

3. Centre for Eastern Studies (Poland)

4. Charles University in Prague (Czechia)

Study results were edited in English in two volumes and presented in Warsaw and Bratislava in September 2016 :
