The aim of the project was to increase the availability of obtaining biometric services and prevent discrimination of people with disabilities. The project allowed to collect and to analyze data from visa consular offices of 23 EU and Schengen area countries, as well as 14 regional subdivisions of the State Migration Service of Ukraine in Kyiv.
The project resulted in a roundtable discussion involving people with disabilities, representatives of civil organizations for disabled people, EU Office in Ukraine as well as consuls from Schengen countries (video of the discussion).
